IP Scanner for the Macintosh displays all machines, users & IPs of Macintosh users on your local network.
IP Scanner goes beyond plain network scanning by using OpenTalk (Rendezvous) technology to collect realtime user information as well as IP data from machines on a local area network and sorts everything in a column, each machine's IP number displayed next to its name (along with the current username of the person logged in to that machine).
For small network admins, this means no more shouting around the office to find out who has which IP or, conversely, who is sitting at which workstation in a fixed IP network.
What's New in This Release:
· Registered version now includes a 'cumulative' mode which will keep a cumulative log of everyone who joins your network regardless of how long they spend connected to it. Useful for knowing who has logged on to your network over a certain period of time.
