BugReporter captures Mac OS X "Crash Logs", allowing them to be sent directly to the appropriate developer. Normally seen only by Apple, these logs allow developers to identify the location and cause of any crash in their applications.
BugReporter can be used from either Carbon or Cocoa applications, and supports both Xcode and CodeWarrior development environments. Reports can be delivered by email or online, allowing them to be fed directly into a bug-tracking database.
What's new in this version:
- No longer require libstdc++ for Mach-O builds using ZeroLink.
- Now grow dialog dynamically to avoid clipping long application names.
- Now default to human-readable email reports, rather than url-encoded.
- Now archive sent bug reports to ~/Library/Logs/BugReporter/Sent.
- Fixed potential double-dispose of a string.
- Fixed bug where non-admin users could fail to initialise.
- Fixed bug where registration reminder could lose focus.
